The Wombats

We were commissioned by the good people over at Screenadelica to make a poster for one of The Wombats 3  sold out shows in Liverpool, alongside with design by Horse and Mike Cottage

Gallows XOYO/Peel

This print was made for the first UK gigs with new vocalist Wade (formerly of Alexisonfire) they played two small club shows to welcome in the new era for the band.

These were limited to 120 with 100 being sold at the shows.. go pick one up here.

The Fishtank

We were asked by the always ever so lovely Agency Music to create a poster for their new exciting project for Illustration and design students.

The posters are to be displayed at universities up and down the country. read more about it here.

Mariachi El Bronx

We made these prints for ‘El Bronxs show in London, and wanted to go for the ultimate retro inspired Lucha Libre print.

A mixture of cut out collage and ink this was a run of 50. Pick one up here if you werent able to make the show.

The Warriors – Hollywood Babylon

We were asked by the Hollywood Babylon over in Ireland to designa  poster for a screening of the cult classic The Warriors, They organise monthly screenings of awesome films and have limited edition prints made especially all lovingly printed by the talented Gav at Tiny Little Horse.

Knowing our good friend Tom Lacey was a massive Warriors geek like us, it seemed apt to make this the long overdue collab we have been planning for about a million years.

Ganglians

We did a rather fetching poster for the splendid Ganglians…getting a bit nostalgic with the Slush Puppy.

Dr John

We made this poster for Dr John & the lower 911′s show at Under The Bridge as part of Bluesfest London. We wanted to capture the psychedelic/ voodoo stylings of the Blues legend himself whilst following a ‘classic concert poster’ idea.  A few artist proofs are available here. 2 colour screen print.  Edition of 40.

Trash Talk

We were asked to design another poster for the lovely chaps in Trash Talk. Using a mash up of occult images, this is a 2 colour A2 print.
Lee TT Ended up giving the prints to all the under 18 kids outside who couldn’t get in.. Top dude.

Sublime

Sublime (with Rome) are back! They stopped off at Chelsea for a one off intimate show in the UK. Working alongside the new amazing venue Under The Bridge, we went for a 60s Californian surf ad style print. A2 dark plumb and sky blue on white, limited to 50.


Dry the River

We were asked to create a print for or their homecoming show at Bush Hall in May this year.
Things are going to kick off big time for them after they release their debut that they are currently recording over in the U, S of A.

It s A2 and the edition was 50. Printed with a really cool metallic bronze ink (that is hard to take a decent photo of!) with black overlay on a cream/off white card.

Lists – Sauna Youth

Sauna Youth recntly put out a 7 inch record, entitled ‘Lists’. As part of the records release, and to work towards part of the packaging, they asked several different artists to come up with an A3 poster design based around the term ‘Lists’. These posters were all exhibited together at the Magnum Opus gallery in Brighton. More information can be read here.


Graham Coxon

We recently hosted Poster Roast at the Camden Crawl and designed a poster for Graham Coxon’s performance at Proud.
It was a really amazing show where he showcased loads of new songs, so get ready for when that drops.

This is a 2 colour A2 print with translucent red/glasses, on really lovely heavy stock and limited to 50.. Signed and numbered. Available here


Beach Creep Branding

Beach Creep is a brand new all encompassing weekly party, featuring discerning djs and sporadic live performances held at the Shacklewell Arms every Friday.
We were asked to develop ideas for the logo and weekly flier for the night. The guys behind it know how to throw a party so make sure you get your good selves down there.


Fucked Up at The Well

The lovely chaps at the Iron Wagon asked us to produce a limited edition poster for Fucked ups show at the Well in Leeds. We were more than happy to oblige. make sure you check out Fucked Up on this tour, their new album is promising to be insanely good. A2 in size and limited to 30


Queens Of The Stone Age – Munich Gigposter

Part of QOTSA’s European tour series this spring, where they are playing the pretty damn amazing first album.
Went for a 60s inspired old film poster style with muted blend and dark charcoal overlay. Edition of 50 signed and numbered.


Kurt Vile

Poster design for the splendid Kurt Vile, went with a nice americana theme..homage to the old diner and motel signs we love so much!


Sexbeat SXSW Party

A nice little Collab with Zac Ella for a blinder of a party at SXSW festival, Texas. The imagery has been used across not only this poster but a mixtape that will be available at the show! – 2 colour screen-print, A2

Gallows

Gallows asked us to design a poster for their Electric Ballroom show where they played their 2nd album Grey Britain in its entirety.
They also had an bloody Orchestra with them! Needless to say, it was intense – limited to 50, A2, 2 colour with semi translucent inks.

Monotonix

Poster for Israeli mentalists Monotonix’s show in London this year. It is guaranteed to be sweaty, insane and bloody good.

Avi Buffalo

Poster for Avi Buffalos London show last year, the brief was ‘A Psychedelic Buffalo vibe please’ I think we got that across? – 3 colour, printed by Loligo.

Poster campaign for Manchester City

We were asked to be involved in Musics project, ‘The Big 4′. They asked 4 different illustrators to design a poster campaign around the 4 large match fixtures of the season for Manchester City. We were given Man City vs Chelsea and the player they chose to use for the campaign was Sean Wright Phillips.

The campaign was plastered all around Manchester..on pretty massive buildings! It was also featured on and in: Sky Sports News, Match of the Day, Design week and The Drum.

Blood Red Shoes

We were asked to design the European tour poster for the very lovely Blood Red Shoes, when they were out touring their second album ‘Fire Like This’. We wanted keep the imagery dark to match the sound, and the colour schemes in keeping with Laura-Marys artwork for the record – 2 colour screen-print limited to 500.

Tweakbird

When We first saw Tweakbird playing at Mike Patton’s ATP we were instantly smitten! With the help of our friends we decided to put them on when they next came to England. They are really lovely chaps and they sure do make a lovely racket. What helps sum that up more than John Travoltas loud quiff?

The Bronx/Mariachi El Bronx

This tour poster was for when the band were playing twice a night, once as The Bronx and once as Mariachi El Bronx for a string of dates across the UK.

Gallows

We have organised quite a few tour series posters now, for our friends Gallows. Working towards making sure they had an original piece of art for each night of their UK tours, freshly designed and printed by some of the best gig poster artists in the UK. This is our poster for their London Date of the Grey Britain tour – 2 colour screen- print.

Radfest Poster and Tape design

A poster design for Radfest, we put on a Poster Roast that ran alongside…This was a bit of a collaboration with Sexbeats in house poster man Zak Ella- The poster was used across various adverts and on the mixtapes they made up.

Pulled Apart by Horses UK tour

Our good pals, Pulled Apart By Horses are pretty much always on tour. They are so god damn good live, if you haven’t seen them yet then why the hell not? This is the poster for their September 2010 UK tour. We went for a bit of a ‘saucy postcard from on tour’ vibe -2 colour screen-print by Loligo.

Dum Dum Girls

Sub Pop darlings, Dum Dum Girls played a show at the newly opened XOYO towards the end of last year. We were asked to do the poster and it came out like this, bubblegum and spraypaint.

Blood Red Shoes 2008

We designed a poster for Blood Red Shoe’s show at the Reeperbahn Festival, Hamburg in 2008. They liked it so much they wanted us to print up more for their European Tour. We were happy to oblige – 2 colour screen-print.

Marathon fundraiser

Poster design for a charity event to raise money towards a good friend of ours running the Marathon! She ran, we just drew stuff.
